John Birkin

John Birkin was born in the United Kingdom on July 2, 1953, Sir John Christian William Birkin, 6th Baronet, is a British director and producer. His Father Sir Charles Birkin, 5th Baronet, was an author and his mother Ms. Janet Ramsey Johnson, was an Australian-born actress. 6th Baronet of the Birkin Baronetcy, Birkin's succeeded his father after his death in 1985. John Birkin's cousins are David Birkin, Andrew Birkin, Jane Birkin, and Ned Birkin. He married Emma Louise Gage, daughter of Roger Leonard Gage, on 25 June 1994, and they are blessed with two children.

Donning the hat of television director and production manager, Birkin is well known for various television shows most famous among which is Mr. Bean (1990). He is a pretty famous TV director in the Comedy Genre well known for his various shows such as Chef! (1993), Victoria Wood with All the Trimmings (2000), French & Saunders and Harry Enfield, Sir. He has directed the sitcom Harry Enfield's Television Program (Series 1), alongside the comedy producer Geoffrey Perkins. He was also suggested for the honored BAFTA award in the Best Comedy category in the years1994 and 2001.
