Kei Wakakusa is a music composer known for flicks like Six God Combination God Mars: The Movie, television series Cyborg Kuro-chan, short film Tokusou Robo Janperson the Movie: Forever my mother, Operating room of love and fire, and the television series Tomica Hero Rescue Force.
 Wakakusa was born on February 10, 1949, in Yamagata, Japan. The Japanese composer scored the music for the animation television series Six God Combination God Mars.
Helmed by Tetsuo Imazawa, the show is set in 1999, when a planet Gishin, led by Emperor Zul, tries to take over the galaxy and destroy Earth. To accomplish this mission, he sends a baby called Mars to Earth, accompanied by a full-fledged robot. The plan is for Mars to activate the bomb contained within Gaia since it can destroy an entire planet. However, Zul’s plan backfires. Wakakusa is credited with composing the music for the animation film by the same name.
Kei has the credit of composing the music for Tokusou Robo Janperson the Movie: Forever my mother, Operating room of Love and Fire, which is a science-fiction short film. Helmed by Konishi Mitio, the movie stars Hiromi Imai, Tomoko Kawashima, Yuichi Komine, and Daigaku Sekine.
The acclaimed musician is also known for scoring the music of the 1999 television series Cyborg Kuro-chan, directed by Yoshihiro Takamoto. The Japanese children’s manga series focuses on a housecat with the titular name, who is abducted by a crazy scientist who tries to convert him into a cyborg as part of his cyborg army to conquer the world. However, the intelligent cat escapes his clutches and dismantles the control chip, instead of forming a group to check the evil designs of the scientist.
Wakakusa served as a music composer for the Japanese live-action television series Tomica Hero: Rescue Force, which premiered in 2008. The series, created by Takara Tomy, a Japanese toy company, stars Kenta Izuka, Seigo Noguchi, Haruno, and Emi Hasegawa.
The Tomica Hero series features characters using Tomica’s super vehicles and super tools to rescue people from disasters and fight other evils.
Wakakusa has the credit of scoring the music for other television series like the 1984 Japanese show Heavy Metal L-Gaim or Jusenki Erugaimu, starring Ryuichi Horibe, Maria Kawamura, and Bin Shamada.
The composer is also known for the animation videos Love Position Halley Densetsu, Outlanders, television series Ushio & Tora, Goal FH, Most Important Person, Hikaru’s Go, and others. He has also given music for the flick Summer Days With Coo, French-Japanese animation series Ulysses 31, and My Daddy Long Legs, among others.
