Ennio Morricone

Ennio Morricone was born on ten November, 1928 in Rome,Italy.He was the son of Libera Ridolfi and Mario Morricone who were musicians.In the early years of his age only he was taught how to read music and howto play several instruments. He even learned to play trumpet and took trumpet lessons under the guidance of Umberto Sempron. He learned about its composition and choral music. Morricone was so versatile that at the age of six, he wrote his first composition and was uplifted to showcase his talent. Gradually he wrote music for theaters, voice and piano such as IMITAZIONE.

Through his rare talent and skills. With his first background music for radio dramas, he gained popularity and quickly moved into films. Even he had composed songs for national and international pop and jazz artists. After playing the trumpet in jazz bands in the 1940s, He gradually became a studio arranger for RCA and in 1955 started ghost writing for film and theater. Throughout his sparkling career, he has composed music for wonderful artists such as Paul Anka, Mina, Silva, Zucchero and Andrea Bocelli.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the rising star gained international stardom for composing music for western. He was one of the most exploratory and authoritative composers of all time, working in any medium. The eminentstar got his best compositions such as: "The Ecstasy of Gold,” "Se Telefonando,” "Man with a Harmonica,” "Here's to You,” "Gabriel's Oboe,” "E PiùTiPenso, etc.His excellence also showed in Hollywood composing for prolific American directors such as: Don Siegel, Mike Nichols, Brian De Palma, Barry Levinson, Oliver Stone, etc.

He was so sublime and eminent for which he was applauded everywhere and also was awarded "Targa d'Oro" in 1971 for the worldwide sales of 22 million.The person didn't stop excelling,he was awarded the Academy Honorary Award in 2007 for his skilled contributions to the art of film music.
