Jared Faber is an American musician, composer and producer/songwriter. He is well-recognized for his works in television, films and record production and is also known as J-Radical. and he is an alumnus of New York's famed High School of Performing Arts. His musical talent led him to study jazz arranging and composition at Berklee College of Music, which later contributed to his promising career in the music industry. After starting his career in 1996, he founded the label "Blind Lemon Music".
Faber currently resides in Los Angeles and has a strong presence in the entertainment industry in LA. Faber has composed the music for many hit shows, such as the ABC show Emily’s Reasons Why Not, As Told by Ginger, Oobi, Splitting up together, ABC’s Suburgatory, and ABC’s Selfie. He also composed the theme songs for Boss Baby, the Netflix series and wrote several songs for The Mr. Men Show. In 2006, he travelled to Havana, Cuba to work on a partnership project with Kool Kojak. Together they produced Urban Legend's critically acclaimed "Tranquilidad Cubana" and later released it through Jared's music label “Blind Lemon Music label”. This ultimately led him to co-write and co-produce La Ley’s Beto Cuevas on the album Transformación in 2012, which later won the Latin Grammy for best Pop/Rock album in 2013. Alex Cuba's 2015 release “Healer”, which he co-wrote was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album and won the Latin Grammy for best Singer/Songwriter Album.
