Jack Blume

Jack Blume is a Television and Film Composer, Orchestrator, and also a Producer at Movie Music London. He works on arrangements for internationally touring stage shows and has scored many pieces of music for commercial short films and Television pilots for almost six years now. Currently, he lives in Central London.

Jack has completed his schooling at The Latymer School, Edmonton in 2010 and he graduated with the degree of Bachelors of Music from the University of Birmingham in 2013. He is a well-trained performer and composer.

He studied composition and orchestration under the guidance of Michael Zev Gordon who is a famous British Composer and conducting with Daniele Rosina, who is the Director of Orchestral Studies in the University Of Birmingham.

Jack has composed some scores for many famous movies and TV’s, and he composed the original score for the film “Snapshot,” which is directed by Marcus Warren. Most recently, he composed the main theme for BBC1’s latest talent show “Pitch Battle,”  which was first aired in June 2017.

He also worked as an arranger and vocal coach for the show and has orchestrated additional music for film composers Vince Pope and M Ghibran. In June 2016, he spoke in a TEDx talk and talked about the human voice as a musical instrument. Previously, he performed arrangements on BBC1, BBC2, BBC Radio and Channel 4.

He has gained a lot of credit for his works in many departments. In 2014, he co-founded Movie Music London, through which he arranges music for films and TV with a team of well-trained composers and orchestrators. He is also the co-creator, arranger and music director of Gobsmacked – a cappella stage show that has commercial and critical success in Hong Kong, London and many prestigious cities of USA.

He is the music administrator and organiser for the latest stage show The Choir of Man, which got a great critical response on its premiere in August 2017 and also received multiple five-star reviews. “The Choir of Man” will be on tour to the USA, Australia and the UK throughout 2018.
