Christine Michelle Metz, known as Chrissy Metz, was born on 29 September 1980. She was born in Homestead, Florida. She is an American actress and singer. Her role in the television series “This Is Us” got her nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. She was also a part of the films Sierra Burgess Is a Loser and Breakthrough. Chrissy Metz took her first job at McDonald’s to buy a pair of sneakers. In a music band, Chrissy and the Vapours, she is a singer. In Muppets Haunted Mansion, she voiced a character.
She married a British journalist Martyn Eaden, but unfortunately, they divorced. She was nominated for Choice Drama Movie Actress at the Teen Choice Awards and Golden Globe Award for the Best Supporting Actress series. She has won Screen Actors Guild Awards for her outstanding performance by an Ensemble in a Drama series.
