Yoe Biu is a Chinese TV personality. Born on 25th August 1968 in Hong Kong. Yoe comes from a very humble background, with both his parents were farmers. Yoe used to work with his parents during his school days to help them out in their farming business. Growing up, Yoe used to go to cinemas every week to watch a movie as he had a real love for acting. He grew up watching classic Chinese and Japanese films, some of his favourite were the Samurai films of the old eras. After finishing his schooling, Yoe decided to give acting a try and his parents were very supporting, he decided to join acting school. During his days at acting school he did many plays, skits and theatre shows.
In 1988, Yoe made his acting debut on The Final Verdict. An action comedy TV series in which he made around 30 appearances. In 1985, he made his debut on the Chinese silver screens, with Chase A Fortune. Yoe starred in the supporting role in this fierce boxing movie about a hardcore boxer who accidentally injures a reporter outside the ring, unbeknownst to the boxer that the reporter is faking his injuries for financial gains. The movie became a commercial hit and only increased Yoe’s popularity among the Chinese audiences. Since then, Yoe went on to have an amazing career starring in shows like Journey To West in 1996 and many more amazing TV series, he retired in 2015.
