Hoechlin was born on September 11, 1987, in Corona, California.
Hoechlin intends to pursue a career in baseball, putting it ahead of his commitment. He strained his muscles, limiting his ability to play and practice. As a result, he participated in many auditing audits, and finally, on the advice of his coach, decided to pursue full-time employment.
Hoechlin appeared in ads as a child. This led to her being successfully screened at the acting school, finding an agent. Her first role, at age 11, was in Happy Haunting, a video of Disney Sing-Along Songs. Hoechlin was selected in the 2000 audition for Michael Sullivan Jr. on the Road to Perdition with Tom Hanks the play led to Martin Brewer's place in the 2003 television drama 7th Heaven. He originally booked the arc of two episodes, becoming a regular character throughout the season.
Hoechlin starred Derek Hale in the television series Teen Wolf. BuddyTV ranked third in its "TV's 100 Sexiest Men of 2011" list.
After leaving Teen Wolf to do other roles and roles in the film, Hoechlin was cast into Richard Linklater's baseball comedy Everybody Wants Others! To achieve the feeling of a relationship between the actors, they spent three weeks living together on a Linklater farm while carefully editing the text. The film was released in 2016 for high praise. He also appeared in the thriller military film Stratton, released in 2017.
Hoechlin was played Superman on CW's Supergirl program in 2016. As the first producer of the producer Greg Berlanti in this role, he did not need to be tested. Describing the broadcast as "surreal", Hoechlin said he hoped he would be able to successfully combine the character's hope and keep Superman's mind as a symbol of hope. His Superman portrayal was well-received by fans and critics and was described as "fun" and "cool".
Hoechlin returned to Supergirl as part of the annual Arrowverse crossover episode, called "Elseworlds". He also appeared in the accompanying crossover episodes of both Arrow and The Flash Click to look into! >> Read More... , all of which aired in December 2018. Hoechlin returned to Arrowverse with episodes of "Crisis on Infinite Earths".
