Todd Lasance, born on 18 February 1985, is an Australian actor best known for his appearances on Australian television. Lasance made his acting debut in 2006 on the adolescent drama series Blue Water High. In 2007, he was cast in the Seven Network soap opera series Home and Away as Aden Jefferies, which is largely considered to be his breakout role. In October 2007, seven announced that he will be a regular for the 2008 season. In May 2009, he won the Logie Award for Most Popular Actor.
In December 2009, Lasance revealed that he would be quitting the series to pursue his acting career in America. On 11 December 2009, he filmed his final sequences. Lasance made his cinematic debut in 2008 with a small role in the film Fool's Gold. Lasance was cast in a projected cinematic spin-off of the Australian criminal thriller series Underbelly in 2010. Underbelly Files: Tell Them Lucifer Was Here is a film about the murder of two Victorian police officers and the ensuing hunt for their perpetrators. He played Dean Thomas, a police detective who was part of the investigating team. On 7 February 2011, the film had its world debut. The Sydney Morning Herald announced in March 2010 that Lasance had signed on to co-star in the drama mini-series Cloudstreet, based on Tim Winton's novel of the same name, in which he portrayed Quick Lamb.
Lasance agreed to feature in a recurring role in the third season of the adventure drama series Rescue: Special Ops on Nine Network in September 2010. He portrayed Cam Jackson, a member of a competing rescue business that competes with the primary crew on the show. In January 2011, it was announced that Lasance would portray the charming young lawyer Ben McMahon in the ABC1 courtroom drama series Crownies. Following his participation in Crownies, Lasance was cast as Peter Mickelberg, one of three Mickelberg brothers accused of involvement in the Perth Mint Swindle, in the Nine Network television film The Great Mint Swindle.
On 11 March 2012, the film was released to mixed reviews from reviewers. Lasance portrayed a teenage Julius Caesar in the fourth and final season of the American historical action series Spartacus: War of the Damned in 2012. On 25 January 2013, the season premiered. In 2017, Lasance resumed his role as Ben McMahon in the Crownies spin-off Janet King. In December 2008, he participated in the music video for Mark Furze's band Falcon Road's song "Favourite Habit." He was a nominee for Cleo Bachelor of the Year in 2009.
