Bill Young

Bill Young is an Australian actor, director, producer, voice over-artist, and theatre artist born on 1 June 1950 in Denman, Australia. Bill Young was one of the busiest artists when he entered the industry in 1975. He is best known for the Lieutenant role in the movie The Matrix. Young graduated from Drama in the late 70s, and in the same year, he produced, directed, and performed his Kirribilli Pub Theatre since 1988,and started to stand up comedy, which terrified Sydney; when he was doing stand up comedy, he met with the voice-over legend artist, Jim Pike who described him the world of voice over. Bill learned so quickly, and at that time his successful radio campaign ‘How d’ya feel' got many awards and appreciation from the audience.

He also gave voice in many advertisements which the company's product was so liked by the customers. He was the most popular voice artist, and everyone wanted, his voice in their projects. Bill had a member in the MEAA, A committee member of the Actors Benevolent Fund golf NSW Income, since 1975. Bill also is an experienced actor of Australia, who has worked in more than twenty films and fifty plus TV serials fur that than he is also a theatre artist and director, who directed many plays and documentaries. As a director he has worked in The Roly Poly Man, A very short war.

He gave his voice in many popular agencies and radio stations, which included the RTA, also for government and political advertising and National and International campaigns. However, he was a regular voice artist for ABC Media Watch Program as well as he also contributed to radio plays. Bill is also was known as a Natural Read, which he speaks in natural voice, and can turn the products more sell. He also gives narration in films and corporate and traveling campaigns, for example, his documentary A Very Short War.
