Andrew Gower was born on 8th November 1989 in Aintree (near Liverpool, England) and has been acting since he was in high school when he joined a theatre group while studying for his A-Levels. In March 2011, Gower made his British television debut as Dr. Andrew Mullery, a heart surgeon in training, in the ITV medical drama Monroe. Gower witnessed two coronary artery bypass procedures while standing close to genuine surgeons to learn more about the role. Gower played newly promoted General Registrar in both the seasons under Head of Clinical Services Alistair.
Andrew's stage credits include Seiffert in the Arcola Theatre's "Conquest of the South Pole" and Charlie in the Hampstead Theatre's "Terror Tales." Andrew Gower, Michael Collins, and James Webster established the Manchester-based rock band Emerson in June 2005. Gower played lead vocals, Collins played keyboards, and Webster played guitar. Andrew Gower joined the music project ‘The Gustaffsons’ in 2015 and the group has produced four tracks (cover songs and original material) and released them on SoundCloud.
