Alfonso Herrera, Latin pop star and actor, was born on 28th August 1983 in Mexico City, Mexico in a very affluent family. He is one of the three children to his parents, he is the middle child with a younger and elder brother both living in Mexico. Alfonso attended the highly prestigious and expensive Eldron Academy, a British school. After completing his schooling, Alfonso had desires to become a pilot. Alfonso decided to move to San Antonio, Texas, where, situated is one of the most prestigious aviation schools in the southern part of the USA.
But due to circumstances arising, and also Alfonso having a change of heart, he decided to join the Centre of Artistic Education, which was run by Latin American media conglomerate Televisa. During his time at the Centre of Artistic Education, not only did Alfonso studied acting and drama, but he also learnt a lot about pop music and he polished his singing skills.
In 2002, he made his debut on the silver screen in a supporting role in the movie Amar te Duele. A romantic movie which performed well on the box-office and it also helped Alfonso gain a lot of popularity. A year later, he was cast in the 4th season of Class 406, where he would mate his future bandmates, who would go on to form the Latin pop band RBD. Since then, Alfonso had a crackling career, releasing music albums to starring in some of the highest grossing Latin movies of all time.
