Sourabh Kanti Dutta is an Indian director, producer, and cinematographer who mainly works in Bengali Film Industry. He completed his under graduation in History. He is most well known for his work in Bonnie (2016) and Fatima (2021), two movies that have won numerous awards. Sourabh has worked in many Bengali movies, short films, and documentaries. I am Bonnie was the first short documentary film that Sourabh received in 2016. The film is about an intersex person who becomes the finest striker in Indian Woman’s football. The movie I am Bonnie was screened at BFI Flare in London and won the 65th National Film Award in 2017.
The film also won the Jury Award at Mumbai International Film Festival in 2018 and the Best Documentary Film Award at Kolkata International Film Festival in 2017. Sourabh’s film Fatima was released in 2021 and was awarded an AlterCine Foundation in 2018. His contribution to the film Fatima was to write, direct, and produce. He further worked as a cinematographer in the movies Atasi and Silver Conch. In 2022, he was a cinematographer for the film Hridoy Bosot. During his career, Sourabh has worked with personalities like
