Abar Jokher Dhan is a 1990s Bengali television serial adapted from the famous 1939 Bengali film of the same name. Both the film and the television series are about the characters Bimal and Kumar, who are friends. They are famous for their adventure stories. Abar Jakher Dhan's television version tells the story of bachelors, Bimal and Kumar, who travel the world to solve mysteries and search for hidden treasures, accompanied by their loyal servant Ramhari and his dog Bagha. The story also includes Binoy Babu, a knowledgeable man who helps them in their adventures, and Kamal, a schoolboy who sometimes joins them.
