Raja Dasgupta is an Indian Filmmaker who predominantly works in the Bengali film Industry. He is the son of the filmmaker Hari S Dasgupta. He studied at Calcutta Boys’ School and graduated from Delhi University. In the 1960s, Raja Dasgupta began his career by working as an associate director in his father’s documentaries. In the 1990s, Raja Dasgupta became an advertising professional and was known for supervising commercials made for ITC. Brooke Bond, Dunlop, and GD Pharmaceuticals. Throughout his career, Raja Dasgupta has worked on several documentaries. In the year 2015, his movie Choukaath-The Threshold was released. In the year 2012, he directed the movie Tiktiki. The films directed by Raja are Manusher Mukh, Swaponeel, and Jungle ki Gehrai Mein.
