Later, he comes to know about his mother, Kanyakumari, who is in prison. She reveals the story of his father, Thiraviyam, who was an expert in Adimurai, a traditional martial art. Pattas comes to know that Nilan and Thiraviyam were friends and they learned martial arts from the same guru. What happened to Thiraviyam? Why is Kanyakumari in jail? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Dhanush is excellent, as usual. His role as Thiraviyam is fantastic. Sneha has given a reliable performance. Mehrene has nothing significant to work. Naveen and Nassar did their part well, as asked.

Analysis

The script is not new and the techniques too. Durai Senthilkumar, who had given a good theme and beautiful performance-oriented film “Kodi,” has not come out with his best, this time. The film has all Dhanush elements for his fans right from action, sentiment and comedy, but the script is not solid. The heroine has no significant role to play, but Sneha satisfies. The BGM by Mervin and Vivek are excellent and the cinematography by Om is fantastic.

What’s There?

  • Dhanush’s presence and his performance
  • Sneha and Dhanush’s chemistry
  • Vivek – Mervin music

What’s Not There?

  • The script is not as robust as expected
  • The heroine didn’t have much to perform

Verdict

The film is watchable once and Dhanush fans might celebrate it for their star’s mass entry and performance.
