Anuradha Sriram is a well known playback singer and a versatile judge for many singing competitions. She was born in the year 1970 in Chennai in a musical family. Her voice is mesmerizing and there are only few people like her to modulate the voice every second. Her famous works include Oh Podu from Gemini, which made her more popular among the south Indian people. Her parents are in the music industry and hence Anu has a chance to enter the field easily. She did her Masters degree in Music in Chennai Queen Mary’s College. Her voice and talent won her gold medals in her UG and PG courses. She excels in Carnatic music and also learnt Western Classical Opera. She did her western classical course in US. She started her music career by singing in Bombay by A.R. Rahman. Her song Acham Acham Illai from Indra dashes everyone. She is judging many talented people through the music shows and selects the best ones and presents them to the film industry. Anbe Sivam, the
Kamal Haasan movie. She has sung more than 3000 songs in all the south Indian movies as well as Hindi movies. Anuradha and her husband Sriram have composed music for the film Five Star. They both do various stage shows in carnatic music, which is their passion.
