James Ransone is an American actor/musician. He was born on June 2, 1979, in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his education from George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Baltimore. Ransone was casted as Cpl. Josh Ray Person in the HBO war drama "Generation Kill" in 2008. He starred in the 2012 horror movie Sinister in which he played the role of Deputy So-and-So.
