'Poonkatru' is a very well publicized and notorious Tamil TV serial which features on Jaya TV. 'Poonkatru' made its debut on 30th June, 2016, and has aired more than 150 episodes till now. It continues to screen on Jaya TV from 6:30 PM to 7 PM and then again the next morning from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The TV series became so famous and prominent that it was dubbed in Hindi as well, and called “Ghar Ek Sapna” which features on Sahara One channel. 'Poonkatru' is a family story about a woman whose husband does not love her, and is not accepted by her in-laws. It displays the struggle of an innocent woman fighting her own battles to get the affection she deserves.
