Mehul Buch is a television actor who has been seen in daily soaps like Shree. This serial is a supernatural theme based show produced by the Hats off productions. The show came on air in December, 2008. It continued with total number of one eighty seven episodes and lasted until November, 2009. The show has Mehul Buch as Narottam. Narottam is a priest in a village and is a father of two kids, one of them being the protagonist of the show, Shree. He is a very religious person, and fears God, and gives a lot of respect to culture and traditions. The story revolves around him shielding the docile kid, Shree from the other villagers. He knows it for certain that if Shree gets married within those sixteen days, her life could be at stake. This is because he is also good at reading horoscopes and fears the happenings he forecasts about Shree’s future. He is a loving and devoted father.

The heroine dreams of a fairytale marriage, whereas the hero has no belief in relationships after seeing the unsuccessful relationship of his parents.
