Darshan Dave

Darshan Dave hails from Rajasthan and comes from an artist family. His mother Dr. Prem Dave is a Professor of Music in Rajasthan University and Holds a Masters degree in Vocal Music with a master degree and Ph. D. in Kathak dance. She is a classical dancer and a singer with whom Darshan practiced his music in early stages of life.

Darshan has done his graduation in Science. After completion of his graduation, he felt that he should be engaged in something which he likes and where work will not appear to him as work but it will be all fun and he decided on the career of acting as he feels that acting gives you an opportunity to live many lives in only one life that a human being gets. With this idea in mind, he relocated to Mumbai and got himself admitted in a film direction course at St. Xaviers' College. He completed the course with highest grades and was very happy with his results. His family gave him a full support to him in his pursuit and he worked as Assistant Music Director, Music Composer, Lyricist and Play back Singer but his objective was to get a good role where he could show his talent of acting to the world. He also acted as model for Re vital and easy of bang and ultimately he got the opportunity he was looking for in the serial Ghar Ek Sapna. In the beginning, he was not very happy as the role he was offered was not a hero but a supporting character, but then on second thoughts, he felt that he still could show the world his talent and his role of Sujit, a Bihari Don was highly acclaimed by the critics and he was awarded Jury Award for best fresh face that year.
