One of the most versatile actors in Indian TV serials who has acted in almost all genres. He is well known for his character of Abhay Diwan in Parichay on Colors channel. He has essayed different roles almost every time like a sweet, caring brother in Bade Each Lagte Hai to a potential villain in . When asked that whether he wants to act in Bollywood, he answered that he doesn’t want to think about Bollywood- rather he he aspires to play a different role each and every time he acts. He has bagged in a lot of awards.

He debuted on television with Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil as Nihaal Balraj Man on Star Plus. Then he appeared as Shylock in Ghar elk Sapna which made his acting even better. Thereafter he he worked in various serials like as Deva, Kesariya Balam AAvo HAmare Des as Deep, Parichay as Abhay, Pavitra Rishta as Jaywant Rane and Bade Ache Lagte Hai as Sid. Among these Pavitra Rishta and Bade ache lagte hai are one of the most popular series going on Indian Televison.

He has won lots of awards for his acting skills, including Lions Gold Awards for Best Television Actor In Negative Role, Zee Gold Awards for Best Negative Actor (male) and Indian Telly Awards for the best negative character. He likes challenges and appreciates the role coming to him. He has been brand ambassadors for ads like Mahindra Bolero and ICICI Home Loan.

On the personal front, he loves biking and loves travelling. He is married to Anisha Kapoor.
