Ganesha is a Hindu mythological tv serial that aired on Udaya tv. This is a dubbed version of a Hindi serial named Vighnharta Ganesha. The original show aired on Sony tv. Udaya tv picked it to dub in Malayalam language and air on its television channel. The show started on 8 June 2020. It aired from Monday to Friday at 6.30 pm for half an hour. The show is all about stories related to Hindu Lord Ganesha and things related to his birth. The show focused on telling the greatness of Lord Ganesha.

The show starts where Maa Parvati wants a beautiful son. She prays to Lord Brahma for a year, then she gets to know that light is going to be her son. Later, lord Ganesha is born and comes to life. Later in the serial, it is shown how lord Ganesh gets into a fight with his father, Lord Shiva and Lord Shiva cuts his head, How Maa Parvati asks him to bring his son back so lord Shiva puts the head of an elephant's head on the body of Ganesha and brings him back to life.

Later we get to know how lord Ganesh gets a mouse as his Vahan. And how one Mouse became his best friend. Lord Ganesh gets a brother named Kartikeya. In one incident, Narad asks Ganesh and Kartikeya to make rounds of the whole world in a competition. The winner of the competition is said to be the best and first prayed to God. Kartikeya Goes to make rounds of the world on his Peacock. Ganesh asks Narad how he can do that with his mouse. Then he gets an idea and starts making rounds of his parents Shiva and Parvati. He wins the round because parents are the whole world for a child. After that Kartikeya gets into a fight with everyone and leaves home. He goes to live in another place.

Later, a Rishi comes to meet Shiva. Ganesha stops him because Shiva was meditating. Rishi asks him to let him pass or get into a fight. Ganesha is ready to fight Rishi. In the fight, rishi makes a move and Lord Ganesha loses his one tooth. That is how he gets the name of Ekdanta. To know more about his life story watch the show.
