Malkhan Singh

Malkhan Singh (popularly known as King Malkhan) is an Indian model turned actor. He recently got a household name as Lord Shiva from Sony Television’s mythological show Vighnaharta Ganesh. Malkhan Singh was born in a Sikh family on 30 September in Bhandup, Maharashtra. He mainly belongs to Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his graduation in BCA from D.A.V College, Bhandup, Maharashtra. The acting was his childhood dream. Once when he was in 9th Standard, he expressed his desire of moving to Mumbai & pursuing acting as his career. His parents also encouraged him. Initially, he started his career in modeling.

But to pursue a career in acting, he quitted modeling in 2012. To sharpen acting skills, Malkhan started working in theatre. He got trained under the aegis of famous Maharashtrian Theatre Artist - Mukesh Jadhav. This has led to the success of his 6-7 theatre shows. In 2013, Malkhan made his acting debut along with actress Sherlyn Chopra through the movie- Kamasutra 3D. It is an Indian English Language 3D Movie, written and directed by Rupesh Paul and was released in Cannes Film Festival. It was not released in India but got recognized in Hollywood. Also, it got nominated in 3 categories in Cannes. In 2015, he got to work in Movie - Meerutiya Gangsters.

It is a Bollywood Crime Comedy film based on the High number of extortion cases in the district of Meerut. It is directed and produced by ZeishanQuadri& written by Gibran Noorani. Meeruthiya Gangsters was considered as one of the best movies of 2015. He also got an opportunity to work opposite Nushrat Barucha, Akanksha Puri, and Preetika Chauhan. In 2017, he made his Television Debut as the main lead in Life OK's Indian Historical show - Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh under the banner of Contiloe Pictures. He played the role of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who was the founder of the Sikh empire. In 2018, he is wrapped up in Sony T.V's new Mythological serial - Viganharta Ganesh.

He is getting featured as Lord Shiva in it. It is seen as the most promising role for actor Malkhan Singh as he is coming household name. Also, once he got nominated for ITA Award for Best Actor Male. Other than this, he is fitness enthusiastic and practices yoga. Also, he performs a few forms of martial arts nicely. Malkhan Singh is not so much active on social media, never reveals anything about his family with media.
