Akanksha Puri is an Indian model-turned-actress. She is a Punjabi by birth. Puri was born in Indore to R. K. Puri (father), a retired Police A.C.P. and Chitra Puri (mother), an astrologer. She studied in a Convent in Bhopal. After graduation, Akanksha worked for Kingfisher Airlines as an air hostess. There she met a model coordinator who suggested her to venture into modeling.
