. But apart from having a protagonist named Wagle, both shows are miles apart from each other. Wagle ki Duniya was a sitcom that presented the daily struggles of the middle-class household through Wagle, a nervous sales clerk, in a comic way as he struggled to make ends meet.
On the other hand, Detective Wagle is an episodic detective series where the detective reveals himself in social matters like water problems or lack of electricity. But just like Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya, Detective Wagle is a middle-class man trying to make ends meet. Also, apart from this similarity the show also had another one. In both, the serial, the character of Wagle is played by legendary actor Anjan Srivastav. Upon releasing, Detective Wagle received a great response from the audience especially old people who could relate to the central character the most.
