Pan Nalin

Pan Nalin is an Indian director who directs motion pictures as well as documentaries. He is also a screenwriter. His full name is Nalin Kumar Pandya. He was born in Gujarat, India. He didn't like attending school but loved painting and drawing. During his school days, he would also participate in plays. He has done his graduation in Fine Arts from M. S. University of Baroda. He then took admission in National Institute of Design. Throughout his studying days he conceptualized four animations and twenty short films. After passing from National Institute of Design, he began to travel myriad countries like the United States of America and the United Kingdom. He then returned to India and voyaged within it before finally shifting his base to Mumbai. Initially, he started to work as a production runner. But other directors were quick to spot his talent and began to entrust him with the responsibility of directing commercials and advertisements.

He has also created fiction films for TV Channels like Canal Plus, BBC, Discovery, and much more. He releases one of his documentary named Ayurveda: Art of Being worldwide, and it met with a resounding applause from all the countries especially Spain, Canada, Holland, Germany, United States, and much more. In 2001, his debut movie as a director Samsara, made him a household name not just in his native country but also across the world. In fact, most of the critics think that it was a bold and groundbreaking project of its time. Disney or Miramax has the right of Samsara. Most of his other works too have been highly successful and swept several awards. The United Nations' committee also invited him for one of their conferences. He was the only Indian filmmaker present there. In 2006, Spain government recognized his efforts towards the ecology and awarded him the prestigious award Vida Sana.

The following year, Triangle Media Group UK's TMG named him as the Top 50 Achievers in Global Mainstream Media in the field of film, theatre, and drama. Several esteemed movie and literary festivals invite him as a jury on their panel.
