Harish Magon

Harish Magon is an Indian film actor born on December 6, 1946, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was one of the notable actors who worked in a supporting role in many of the hit films of the 90s. He was a 1974 graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He married Pooja Magon and has a daughter, Aarushi, and a son, Siddharth. In 1975, after completing his graduation, he got his first debut through the film “ Chupke Chupke With serials like Kuldeepak which has been recentl >> Read More... ”, where he played the role of a thief. Then he was cast in " Aandhi Aandhi was an interesting Hindi television serial  >> Read More... " in the same year. Slowly and gradually, he got many chances in different movies and shows, some of which are Khushboo (1975), Inkar (1977), Muqaddar ka Sikandar (1978), Golmal (1979), Namak Halaal (1982), Shahenshah (1988), etc.

He quitted acting in 1997 to open his institute, named "Harish Magon Acting Institute" in Juhu, Mumbai. The Institute offers three years degree course in Dramatics and also various short- and long-term Diplomas. His wife, Pooja also works at Sriram Mantri Vidhyanidhi Info-Tech Academy.
