Chirag Desai is an Indian film and television serial actor. He is a new and promising actor in the television industry. He aspires to be an actor and his dream came true when he got the opportunity to essay the role of or Jiggy in the teen drama series, – My Life My Choice on Channel V. His character adds spice to the story, as the production brought a love story between him and Kausthuki (played by Homring). Off-screen, the two were also seen together after the show but Chirag stated that Homring is just a special friend and there’s nothing more.

Prior to this, Chirag already appeared in the crime television series, Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television India. He also did an episodic in the Indian thriller show, on Zee TV, along with and . They bagged the roles of the young strugglers. He was also seen in the Hindi supernatural serial, shree on Zee TV channel, where he played the role of Lappu.

Beside performing in the small screen, Chirag also appeared in few films like Mr. Traas in 2011, where he played the role of Archit Sharma. This is a comedy drama film that revolves around the life of Mr. Sharma, a simple man who lives an ordinary life. He is also part of the film, Vroom in 2010. Chirag also did an episodic in the courtroom drama series, Adaalat in 2011. He played the role of Vikram in Episode 1.

Chirag always finds time with his family in spite of his busy schedule. Last September, during the celebration of Ganapati, he showed his house and took pictures of his family which obviously shows that they have a strong family relationship. He is also waiting for a good opportunity to knock on his door.
