Salman Khan is a very famous Indian actor and a producer. He was born as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on December 27, 1965 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Salman is referred to as one of the most successful actors in Bollywood. His father is Salim Khan who is also an actor and a screenwriter while his mother is Sushila Charak (Salma Khan). He graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in Mumbai. Prior to this, he went to Scindia School, Gwalior together with his brother, Arbaaz Khan. He also studied at Elphinstone College. Salman started his acting career in year 1988 through the Hindi film, ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’, where he played as the younger brother of Farooq Sheikh, followed by a breakthrough performance in his first leading role in the musical romantic film, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ in 1989. Later on, he established himself in the Bollywood cinema during the 90’s with roles in various leading production houses. Some of his remarkable films include ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’, ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Biwi No.1’ and ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’.
