Comedy ka King Kaun is another leaf in the series of laughter riot on the television channel Sab TV. Sab TV is carrying forward its legacy of entertaining their viewers through laughter by airing this new show on its channel, every Monday to Thursday, 8:30 pm. The show runs for 4 months. This show, unlike other comedy shows on television has a very different format. The show has three major rounds. The show starts with the first round, “the stand-up comedy’ round where each of the contestants will perform alone. In the second round, “the jugalbandi’ round, two of the contestants will be chosen for a face of where the judges would provide them with random topic. One of the contestant’s starts to speak on this topic and after 30 seconds the buzzer rings and the other contestant has to carry on from where the last contestant left off.

This session goes on for 2 mins and judges decide who the better performer was. The third and the final round is “the gag round” where each contestant puts up a gag and the judges score them on that. End of each episode sends the lowest scoring comedian to the danger zone, or as called in the show, ‘khatre ki khai’. At the end of the entire week, the four lowest scorers compete against each other and finally one of them gets eliminated each week.
