Intro: Rauf Lala is one of the few Pakistani actors, comedians and artists who have gained popularity in Indian television industry and Bollywood alike.

Rauf Lala is a popular Pakistani actor, writer, producer and comedian who has gained immense success with his acting skills in Pakistan. Because of his success stories as a comedian in Pakistan, he was invited to participate in an Indian comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 2 which was aired on Star One in the year 2006. After that, he also worked for some Bollywood movies and other television programmes. While Rauf Lala is working for Pakistani entertainment industry since more than three decades, he is still very new for the Indian entertainment industry.

In Pakistan, some of his best films include Duniya Dilwalon Ki, Hum To Chale Sasural, and Manila Kay Jaanbaz. He also worked for Bollywood films which include Bhavnao Ko Samjho and Runaway. He first appeared on Indian television as a comedy contestant in the competitive show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 2. He won that show and gained the award of Comedy Ka Shahenshah. In the final episode of this show, was the chief guest. After that, he also took part in other comedy competition reality show in the year 2008 which was telecasted on Sahara One. He also appeared in other stand-up comedy television series The Great Indian Family Drama which was premiered on Sab TV on 3rd January 2015.
