Another Version of the Serial...

Durga Durgeswari is a Bengali television romantic family drama that airs on GEC Star Jalsha. Here is the reboot version of the old serial Durga. The story revolves around Dugga, who is supposed to win the evil spirits with the Lord Maa Durgeshwari. Sampurna Mondal and Bishwarup Bandyopadhyay, Ankita Majhi, and Swagata Mukherjee are the lead cast of the series. The series was launched on 2nd September 2019 and protrudes to six hundred and thirty-three episodes ending on July 19, 2020. The team telecasts this story in the prime evening slot of 06.30 AM. Dugga, a simple village girl, is a severe devotee of Maa Durga. She lives in Durgeshwari temple at Ishwaripur which Goddess Durgeshwari guards herself. People also visit this temple for its secret presence of an ancient transcript Vabishya varati through which one can control anyone's fortune. After breaking all the hurdles, Dugga gets the authority of the temple for worship and later meets Omkar.

He is a talented astrologer, the real heir to the famous Roychowdhury family in Kolkata, but unfortunately, his aunt Ujjaini, a fake astrologer, and uncle Kinkar tortures him after Omkar’s parents die in an accident. Because to keep him mentally unstable to suppress his talent, this is the right way for the. One day, when Ujjaini comes to know about the famous Vabishya varati transcript and wishes to exploit it for power. So she arranges Omkar and Dugga’s marriage. When Dugga attacks her knowing her intentions, she tries to destroy the temple, including Dugga and Omkar, but she becomes paralyzed. Meanwhile, Kinkar calls Damini, the first wife of Omkar's father, Rupankar Roy-Chowdhury, who was driven out of the family when she attempts to murder her husband for properties to snatch the transcript. Damini is a lady Tantrik and comes back to revenge on the family.

She pretends that Dugga is innocent and welcomes her to the Roychowdhury mansion. Then she blackmails her for the transcript and kidnaps Omkar when she refuses. But, Maa Durga helps her in finding Omkar. Later, Damini tries to kill Dugga. Durgeshwari’s grace saves her, but she loses her memory. Meanwhile, Maa Durga takes the humanoid form to destroy Damini. Dugga then reaches RoyChowdhuri's house and regains her memory with Maa's blessings.

Damini and Kingkar are exposed after their attempt failed when they kill Omkar and cops arrest them. But soon, Damini comeback to revenge. The story takes a twenty years lap. After Omkar and Duggan's death, the narrative of their daughter Devi as the protagonist. Damini again comes back for revenge and tries to kill Devi but all spoils. Dugga's soul makes Damini arrested, and Devi marries her lover Babon. They live happily ever after with the Maa Durgeshwari’s blessings.
