Filmfare Awards Bangla 2021 is an award ceremony that is held in honour of all Bengali artists who are involved in the film and cinematic industry. The Filmfare awards held in 2021 had 15 categories. Each and every one of these categories had a pre-selected set of nominees. The winner is selected by the age-old method of votes given by the fans and the popularity and success achieved by each of the nominees. The show also had some performers from the nominees or the guests who performed in dances or sang a song to entertain the audience. An after-party was also held after the ceremony. "Best film" was won by 'Borunbabur Bondhu’, followed by “Tonic”. “Best director” was won by Anik Dutta for directing ‘Borunbabur Bondhu'. "Critics Best Film" was won by 'Binisutoy’.

The winner for the “Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female)” was Jaya Ahsan for her role in ‘Binisutoy’ while the “Critics Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female)” was won by Arpita Chatterjee for her performance in ‘Abyakto’. Aparajita Auddy and Samiul Alam both won the category of “Best Actor in a Supporting Role”.

The “Best Music Album” was given to Shantanu Moitra, Anupam Roy, Prasenjit Mukherjee, and Shibabrata Biswas for the movie “Prem Tame”, while the “Best Lyrics” award was given to Nilanjan Chakraborty for the song ‘Behaya’ from the movie ‘Ekannoborti’.
