Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya is an Indian soap opera broadcasted on STAR Plus channel. The series of 767 episodes started on December 7, 2009. In the beginning, the show acquired very good critiques and TRPs, but when the TV serial, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Ekta Kapoor was unveiled on Sony TV on the same time slot, Maan Kee Awaaz Pratigya dropped significantly; therefore the show was harshly ended on October 27, 2012.
It is a story of a woman who is willing to go to any length for justice. It is a story that revolves around the two families, the Thakur and Saxena clan. Krishna (played by Arhaan Behl) is a member of the Thakur family who is famous for being powerful in Allahabad. The Thakurs believes in delusion while the Saxena clan is somewhat different. They are old-fashioned and educate their children, Pratigya (Pooja Gor) and Arushi (Avantika Hundal) without uncertainty. Later on, Krishna and Pratigya fell with each other even if they are completely incompatible. Krishna forced Pratigya to marry him. And to be able to protect Pratigya, Adarsh (Pratigya’s brother played by Ankit Gera) marries Komal (Parvati Sehgal), Krishna’s sister.
Pratigya was not gratified with her marriage but later on, she realizes that Krishna was really in love with her. Eventually, she falls in love with Krishna as well and the two become closer to each other. Thakur Samar Shakti Singh (played by Eklavya Ahir) was Kesar and Shakti’s son. But Shakti gets mad with Kesar. Samar grows up in favor of Pratigya. Then, Shakti remarries with Menka (played by Soni Singh) who wished to seize the Thakur’s properties. Abimanyu Singh Yadav (played by Mohit Malik) is the illegitimate child of Sajjan Singh who intentionally planned collusion against the Thakurs.
