An Ahmedavadi by birth, Gemini being her zodiac sign, Pooja Gaur was born on June 1st, 1991. She studied at AG School, Ahmedabad.

Pooja made her debut on television with the show Kitni Mohabbat Hai as Purvi, the sister of the lead role. Thereafter she bagged the title role in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya on Star Plus. She is now set to act in a new show “The Serial” to be aired on Channel V.

Several guest appearances in serials such as Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have also come her way. She had a short role in Maayke Se Bandhi Dor. Her versatile personality has helped her in playing the host in . Pooja was one of the strongest contenders of Khatron Ke Khiladi- Darr Ka Blockbuster, but was unable to win in this show.

Awards have been part of Pooja’s career. She bagged the Favourite Naya Sadasya, Hottest Jodi with Arhaan Bahl as Krishna in Star Parivaar Awards in 2010.

The Global Indian Film &TV Honors awarded her the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Female) in 2011. Kalakar Awards adorned her with The Best Actress in Indian Television award. And the 2011 Star Parivaar Awards rained titles for this pretty lady – She was declared Favourite Beti, Favourite Patni and Favourite Maa for her varied roles in different serials.

Though Pooja has never openly admitted it, her closeness to is a well known fact. They have been dating since the past three years. Raj is also an actor and was seen in the cult show Remix in the role of Yuvi. The two met on the sets of Koi Aane Ko Hai and have been going strong ever since.

Pooja Gaur is an Indian television actress having acted in several TV serials. She was born on 1st June 1991 in Ahmedabad, India. She did her schooling in A.G. School, Ahmedabad. She first appeared in 2009 in the NDTV Imagine serial Kitani Mohabbat Hai, playing the sister role of the show's main character. Her main breakthrough came soon as she was roped in the lead role to play Pratigya in Star Plus's popular show Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya that was ranked 2nd in Top 10 shows.

She acted so well that she was able to nail the Star Parivar Awards for three consecutive years from 2010-2012. In 2015, she made a comeback to the small screen in the fiction-medical drama Ek Nayi Ummeed that was aired on Life OK channel. She played the lead role of Dr. Roshni, and it looked like Grey's Anatomy at the beginning but was not able to produce success as the latter one.

It was rumored that Pooja was dating fellow actor Raj Singh Arora. She met him when she moved to Mumbai and intended to marry him in the future but till now there is no news about their wedding bells. Pooja is also currently learning Kickboxing.
