Sonal Jha

Sonal Jha, the Indian film actress, and theater artist, belongs to Bihar, Patna. She did various Hindi serials and theater for long. She also appeared in few films in supporting role. Sonal is a well known Television artist and was also seen in few serials of Malayalam and Bihar. Sonal Jha was born in Bihar, Patna and was related to theater from her childhood only. She did Theater for 15 years from her childhood. She was affiliated with IPT theater, Patna and did various events like acting, singing, dancing, etc. with the theater. Later she came to Delhi for her education. She did her post graduation (Masters) from Delhi University, Delhi and after completing her education she went abroad. She returned to Mumbai and after her journey, she realized that acting and theater is what her cup of tea. She understood her talent and after coming back to Mumbai, she joined a theater group. Though Sonal started with theater when she was only a kid, this gave a kick start to her career.

With Nadira Zaheer Babbar, she did theater for long in different cities including Agra, Delhi, and Manipur. She was first seen in the serial ‘Bahubali.’ The serial was very famous in Bihar, and she was appreciated for that. It was the first time she was introduced to the camera. She kept doing theater. In 2006, she appeared in a movie Return to Rajapur for a short role. This was probably her first film. She didn’t restrict her talent to Television serials and appeared in movies too. Sonal is in Mumbai since ten years trying to make her career with serials, theater, and movies. After a long journey, she has made her name in the industry and would be seen further in various serials and movies.
