Payel Sarkar is an Indian Bengali actress who has done more than 20 Bengali films. Payal was born on 10th February 1984 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She has also appeared in many Hindi television shows. She is among the highest paid actress in the regional cinema. Payal’s Father’s name is Ashok Kumar Sarkar, and her mother’s name is Konika Sarkar. She completed her schooling in the year 2001 and then she went to Jadavpur University in Kolkata and earned a degree in History in the year 2004. She started her career as a model for Bengali Teen Magazine and then she shifted to the film Industry. She made her debut in the Bengali Film Industry in 2004 with the movie Shuddhu Tumi. Later in 2006, she appeared in the Bibar, directed by Subrata Sen in which she was starring opposite Subrata Dutta. She did two movies in the year 2007 namely; I Love You and F.M (Fun and Masti), both of which were well received by the Box – Office. She made her debut on the television series with Anurag Basu ‘s Love Story. The show was a huge success, and Payel received critical acclaim for her performance in the show. She also appeared in the show called Ladies Special. Her success led her to the 70mm screens in the South Indian Film Industries. In the year 2009, she starred in the movie Cross Connection, directed by Sudeshna Roy. Later she also appeared in Prem Amar and Sohom. Her most successful and recent work was in the movie Guddu Ki Gun, where she was starring opposite Kunal Khemu. Pooja Ruparel is an Indian movie and TV actress. She was born on 25th June 1981 in Mumbai, India in an educated and highly professional family of Sunita Ruparel, who is the own sister of Sonakshi Sinha's mother thereby stating Pooja and Sonakshi are cousins.
