Another Version of this story...
‘Ek Thhi Naayka’ was premiered on 9th March 2013 and went off air on 28th April 2013 on Life OK channel. It was a 16-episode horror thriller mini-series. The serial is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The serial had an impressive cast of Ekta’s all-time favorite actors such as Sakshi Tanwar, Smriti Irani, Shweta Tiwari, Mouli Ganguli, Yash Tonk, Sudha Chandran, Amar Upadhyay, Raj Singh Arora, Jaya Bhattacharya, etc.
The serial gave a chance to catch a new story with a leading actress every week. The plot revolves around a heroine in the serial, who has a smooth sailing life, till a witch appears in disguise and ruins it all for her. It is then that the heroine of the serial takes charge and rushes to seek divine intervention, and then everything becomes normal. Each story was too long - two episodes from 11 pm to midnight for two consecutive weekend nights did test the patience of the viewers.
It would have been better if each story was completed within an hour’s time.
