Saurabh is not afraid of being stereotyped in one particular look and is known to bond well with his co-actors. He lost his father at an early age and the experience left him mature and able to shoulder responsibility. A practitioner of Buddhism, he enjoys the sound of chanting and he finds that he has become very calm and patient ever since he took up the roles of Krishna and Vishnu. He owes his success to his mother, and his wife, Riddhima, whom he married in 2010. He is a firm believer that mental fitness comes first and being calm is the key to being fit.

You can find models who are good actors, but you will not find more who can portray the role of Lord Krishna with such reality that people believe real Lord Krishna to be like him. We are talking about our very own “Krishna” Saurabh Raj Jain. Powered by killer looks & a solid modeling platform, this star is active on Indian TV from last 10 years and he is getting more popular day by day. He is a dude from Delhi who did his schooling and graduation from Delhi and went to Pune to do his MBA. But his love for glamour took him to Mumbai where started off as a model. Then came, his all-important break in 2004 when he cast in a TV show Remix. The show was a hit and so was he.
He has done more than 10 shows in his career, but the main career highlights are the mythological roles that he has played in Jai Shri Krishna, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and Mahabharat. These roles took him in a different line of artists. He has become so well versed with these roles that he even claimed that playing the role of Lord Krishna is Mahabharat is not challenging to him which from the critics’ perspective is a very tough role to play. He has completed 10 years in the industry and he still looks hungry to prove and to do even better. He always performs out of the skin and we believe he will continue to do so.

The dynamic and magnificent Indian actor is very dauntless about his skills and talent and is too cocksure. He played the role of Lord Krishna in the mythological drama "Mahabharat". He is beyond his ages in acting skills which are just superb! Saurabh does not find any of his role arousing for the sake that he starts to live in them and focuses a lot without any distraction. Many actors become attached to individual characters they play. But our Saurabh is just different. What substantiates to him is the appearance he has to give and how he does it beyond any shadow of a doubt. He does not like being compared to the other actors who played the same role before. You could see him all adorned with heavy jewellery and the ancient costume, performing as if to bring Mahabharata back in this world again The actors on the set have to go through so many struggles eventually.
Saurabh and the other players, unfortunately, have to shoot in the oppressive and steamy temperature burdened with their heavy brimming getup, jewellery and even weapons which are sometimes very heavy. Despite the fact that they get ready in a comfortable air-conditioned room, the shooting takes place in the bright scorching sun and intense boiling weather. They all are aware of the bad weather conditions of the place where they shoot that is Umargaon, yet no one complains as they know it is a part of their work they have chosen. Saurabh loves entertaining his viewers, and he thoroughly enjoys doing that. He even feels gratified when he gets to know the audience response. He says, "People are very fond of me and enchanted by my acting. I have been appreciated by many that got me a high on. Some even get mad to have photographs snapped along with Krishna which is very amusing". He started his career under the guidance of actor and the director Rajat Kapoor.
He used to attend his workshops to put an edge on his acting craft. He also read lot of books of some famous authors with discernment and apprehension with a quick grasp. Some of the books he cherished are the famous 'Palaces Of Illusion' and 'Difficulty Of Being Good'. It is here, Saurabh became even more confident to enter the industry of Lights, Camera and Action finally. Apart from some mythological shows, he has done fictional performances as well in shows like "Parichay" and "Uttaran". He played the role of Anand Chopra in TV show Parichay aired on Colors Viacom18. He says, "When the character is well written and has substance, it does not matter whether the show is fictional or not. Saurabh had first started his career in Remix at the age of 19. Later, he worked in Meet Mila De Rabba followed by Jai Shri Krishna. After that he started working in Mahabharata. He has also hosted many episodes of Life OK's crime based show Savdhaan India.
He played the role of Lord Vishnu in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev in 2011. He has also acted in two films – “ Karma Click to look into! >> Read More... ” in 2008 film as Linda's lover and in 2015 movie “Check In Bangkok” as Krish. He was also seen in the commercials of TATA Tea and Laxmi Jewellers. Saurabh is also somewhat spiritual in some manner. Though he does not worship any God or deity, he feels that he has some connection with the divine. He is a Jain by birth but loves to follow Buddhism as a faith. His mother has established herself as a lawyer, and he has two elder sisters who are married and settled in New Delhi. He, in turn, got married to a beautiful Kashmiri girl Riddhima in 2010, a software engineer by profession. They had met as students while attending a dance institute.
