Deepti Mishra is a renowned Indian poet, writer, and actress, working in both the Hindi film and television industry. Born on 15 November 1959 in Lakhimpur, she was raised in an environment that respected the art and culture. In Varanasi, she graduated from Basanta College Rajghat and auditioned for drama at All India Radio, where she performed as well as staged radio plays under the tutelage of Vinod Rastogi. She married Anoop Chandra Misra in 1982. She completed her MA in Hindi Literature from Chowdhary Charan Singh University.

Aside from this, she is a renowned poet and has penned down a number of ghazals and poems. Her acclaimed books, Barf Mein Palti Hui Aag, Hai to Hai, and Baat Dil Ki Keh To Dein, showcase her skills as a noteworthy shayar. Consequently, she got invited to recite her work in Mushayras hosted by Indian Embassy in Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Bahrain.
