Anil Wanvari, the creator of Indian Telly Awards, is also the CEO and founder of media and services group. The Indian Telly Awards are the awards given to the excellent characters who perform their best on-screen as well as behind the screens on television in India. There are various categories of awards. Many esteemed personalities from the television industry are the part of the Indian Telly Awards juries that are assigned distinct categories, and they are different from the ones of the respective professional groups.

The categories of awards are technical awards, trade awards, programming awards, and jury awards. The technical award focuses on the enhancement of specific skills and is for those who possess such skills and sets a new standard of technical qualities. The trade awards are for the excellent performers of TV production houses and MSO’s in a particular period. The programming awards are for the channel executives and the television software producers for making programs of different genres. And the jury awards are for the television actors. The 14 Indian Telly Awards telecasted on Sunday, 27 December 2015 on the television channel &TV.

There are 63 categories of awards that cover Programming, Technical, Digital and Popular awards. The winner’s selection is done by both the jury members and the public. Manish Paul got the best anchor for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Kapil Sharma won the award for the best Talk Show Host of Comedy Nights with Kapil. Shilpa Shinde as Angoori Bhabhiji got the award for the actress in a comic role and Rohitash Gour as Manmohan Tiwari got the award for actor in a comic role in the show Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain. Poonam Dhillon as Sharda and Raj Babbar as Amarjit were selected as the best actors in a supporting role (Drama) for Ekk Nayi Pehchan and Pukaar respectively. Manasi Parekh as Maya and Kiku Sharda as Akbar were awarded for the best actors in a supporting role (Comedy) for Sumit Sambhal Lega and Akbar Birbal respectively.

The award for the actress and actor in a negative role was given to Shraddha Arya as Ayesha and Sai Ballal as Kamal Narayan for Dream Girl and Udaan respectively. Radhika Madan as Ishani was awarded as the Fresh New Face (Female) for Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and Priyanshu Jora as Titu got the Fresh New Face (Male) Award for Tu Mera Hero. Devoleena Bhattacharjee as Gopi and Sriti Jha as Pragya got the award for the serials Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Kumkum Bhagya respectively as the best actress in a lead role, and Karan Patel as Raman got the award for Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as the best actor in a lead role. The serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai got the award for the Ensemble Cast. Ganga on &TV and Udaan on Colors were the Programmes with a social message.

Saath Nibhana Saathiya won the daily series award and CID as the Weekender Show. Continuing TV Programme is Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah, Agent Raghav as Thriller/Horror Programme and Comedy Nights with Kapil as the Comedy Show. Bigg Boss 8 won the award for Reality Show, Kaun Banega Crorepati as the Game Show and Dance Plus as Dance Talent Show. Indian Idol Junior got the award for the Best Singing Talent Show and the serial Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap as the Best Historical Series. The award for the Best Jodi on TV went to 'Abhi'-'Pragya' for Kumkum Bhagya and ' Ishita'-'Raman' for 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'.
