Kiku Sharda

Kiku Sharda is a talented actor, comedian and, also, a dancer. Kiku was born in Jodhpur and graduated Commerce in Mumbai. He is happily married to Priyanka, with whom he has two kids.

Kiku Sharda is one of those few actors who have established themselves as hardcore comedians in a short time by overlooking all the drawbacks, whatsoever. Hailing from a family with a non-filmy background, Kiku Sharda can easily be called a self-made man. 

Born and brought up in Jodhpur as the son of a private sector employee and a homemaker mother, he then moved to Mumbai for his Graduation in Commerce, which is where it all started for him.
His career now spans more than 11 years, and he is most famous for his character as ‘Palak’ in the Color’s TV show, ‘Comedy Night’s with Kapil’. This role made Kiku Sharda a household name. However, he made his television debut long before that, in 2004, with the show ‘Hatim’. Since then, he is regularly seen in both movies and TV soaps. This character played a huge role in making him famous among the viewers; it established him as a comedy icon.

He is married to Priyanka with two beautiful kids. The two of them, Priyanka and Kiku, also participated in the dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja - Season 7’ in 2014 where even though they didn’t win the show, they still called it an enjoyable experience.

Kiku also won an Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Comedy) in 2015 for his role as ‘Akbar’ in Akbar Birbal. 
He was recently sent to judicial custody for 14 days after a complaint alleging he hurt religious sentiments by mimicking Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Kiku apologized for this and went on to say that he was just reading the script, as was presented to him by the channel and show producers. 
He still continues to spread mirth with his comedy shows.
