Anil Wanvari

Anil Wanvari is an Indian Television Entrepreneur. Anil was born in the year 1963. His father’s name is Moolchand Thakurdas Wanvari, a Businessman. His mother’s name is Neelima Wanvari, a homemaker. He is the third son of the four sons his parents had. He completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Botany from the Jai Hind College in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

He later completed his Master’s degree in Cytogenetics specialization from the Ramnarain Rui College of Bombay University. After his Master’s he did a diploma in Mass Communications and Journalism from Xavier Institute of Communications in Mumbai. Anil started working for the Motoring Magazine of Western India Automobile Association (WIAA).

Then he worked in Business World magazine for six long years. He started in Business World magazine as a sub-editor. He turned into an Assistant Manager in five years. He also started writing a few columns for the Business World magazine. He wrote columns for financialexpress. He also wrote columns for Business Standard for about two years.

Anil founded a group named Indiantelevision.com in 1999. He is the CEO and editor in chief of the company. He also works in Tellychakkar.com, Radioandmusic.com, and animationxpress.com. He got appointed as India Correspondent for FT Media Group’s various publications like Television Business International, Cable & Satellite Asia, Cable & Satellite Europe, Cable Business International.

In these publications, he published about topics like media, marketing, advertising, cable, satellite, etc. His elder brothers Anoop Wanvari and Tarachand Wanvari helped him in Indiantelevision.com Anoop helped him in increasing the revenues whereas Tarachand helped on the writing end. Anil has a part in founding the Indian Telly Awards and The NT Awards.
