Karan Patel is an Indian television actor born on 23rd of November, 1983, in Calcutta. He comes from a Gujarati family. His father, Nishit Patel, is a businessman by profession and Karan is the only child of his parents. He completed his schooling from Utpal Sanghvi School and graduation from Mithibai College, Mumbai. Later, he joined Kishore Namit Kumar’s Acting School and Shiamak Davar’s Dance Classes.
He started his career from Ekta Kapoor’s popular drama, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, and after that he appeared in Ekta Kapoor's other dramas, Kesar and Kavyanjali, which were aired in 2005. In 2006, he again did TV serials like Karam Apna Apna and Kasam Se. His first main lead role was in ‘
