Plot
Shiva (Rakshit Alguri) works as a truck driver in coffee fields. One day a fight ensues and Shiva’s outburst leads to a series of events. During the commotion, an obscure romance and the LGBTQ community’s struggle lead to a disastrous clash.
Star performance
Rakshit Alturi as Shiva is commendable. The rest of the cast has also done a fantastic job. The actresses also played their part well. All the actors have done their job well despite the characters being underwritten.
Analysis
The film has a simple, straightforward story. The director wants to communicate with the audience about gender equality, but it falls flat as the topic itself hasn't been given depth and screen time. The film has a slow pace. The comedic scenes don't make any sense and feel unwanted as they don’t take the story forward. The film doesn't offer anything new and just ticks the tropes of a typical Telugu film, A mix of comedy, family, thriller, and action sequences. The action sequences are shot in such a haphazard way. So many actors in the film have no relevance to the film’s plot, Even an actor like Nassar is wasted in this crowd. The second half of the film is heavily predictable. The romantic plot could’ve been explored more. The cinematography is beautiful. Nani Chamidisetty has captured beautiful visuals of the village. Some of the songs in the film are good and harmonious, Narakasura is a below-average action film with good performances, visuals, and some songs but a tiring screenplay lets the film down.

Narakasura is a below average action film that looks beautiful and has excellent performances. It can be a one-time watch.
