He is also a playback singer in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, and Tamil. He has been singing since 2000, but his song “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” from the film Naqaab (2007) made him famous in Bollywood. After that, he sang hit song like Jashn-E-Bahaara from the Movie Jodha Akbar (2008). He also sang the song Guzarish (Ghajini) and Maula mere Maula (Arziyan).
