Krishnan Subramanian is a sound designer best known for his work in Kaththi and Maryan. Krishnan did his B.Tech at the University of Madras in Electronics and Communication in 2004 and a master's program in Music Engineering and Production at the University of South Wales. He graduated with an M.A. in Soundtrack Production at Bournemouth University in 2009 by collaborating on several projects ranging from animation, documentaries and short films. Krishnan was a member of the Global Cinema Student Committee. He kickstarted his career at Bang Post Production, Cardiff, Wales, where he interned as a Sound Assistant. Krishnan edited dialogues on The Harshlight of Day, a feature film by Multistory Films. He's working as a Sound Designer at aSOUNDStory and A.M Studios based in Chennai, India.
