Plot
Akhil is not a bright student, but his father, Gopal, wishes him to become an engineer. Akhil gets a low rank at EAMCET. So, he joins the MPC Coaching Centre. Khatyayani, a fellow student who is a struggler like him, joins the same coaching centre. He falls in love with her. When he plans to confess, something unexpected happens. What does he learn about her? Did the truth affect his feelings for her? The rest of the film deals with his relationship.
Star Performance
Mouli is good in his role as Akhil. Comedy comes out of him, naturally. His body language and simple expressions are. Shivani’s performance is good. Her chemistry with Mouli is neat. Rajiv Kanakala is impressive as Gopal. Jai Krishna did his part well.
Analysis
The plot is very simple. The comedy scenes are okay for the time being, and they don’t stay in our memory. Although the lead characters are penned well, the supporting characters should’ve been designed better. Rajiv Kanakala did justice to his role, yet we feel that he is underutilized. The pace is not fast throughout. Whenever we feel that the screenplay is slow, a bit of comedy saves the pace. The climax is quick. The songs are neat, and the BGM is good. The visuals are pretty decent.
