MORE CAST & CREW
The recent fascination of Kollywood is undoubtedly horror comedy genre. And yes, we even witnessed blockbusters of this genre. . And now, Peigal Jakkirithai has hit the screens. Has it emerged a winner? Read further to find out.
The hero of the movie has attempted suicide many times only to turn a failure. Eventually, the hero stays with Thambi Ramaiah, who is scared of ghosts. It happens that the hero is possessed by four ghosts. Well, I don’t want to reveal what happen later since that is the crux of the story.
Thambi Ramaiah has a plump role, and he does full justice to his character. He also tickles your humor bones now and then. Jeeva Rathnam is quite ok while Eshanya, who had earlier acted in a Kannada horror movie, Raju Gari Gadhi, has limited scope to perform. In this movie, she dons the role of a college girl. Even though there are good actors like Manobala, Mottai Rajendran, and Black Pandi, there is a lack of good comedy in the movie.
Peigal Jaggiradhai poses you with a valid question: are there entities called ghosts? Should we be scared of them? Well, this has been the most researched question, and no valid theory has been derived as of now.
For a debut attempt, this is an appreciable job for Kanmani. She has done a fantastic job win the climax.
What’s not there?
Though the basic idea of the movie is pretty good, the screenplay falls short of expectations. You can just watch it once for the engrossing climax.
